The new Yaohua has 108 ballast water tanks, each of which has a valve that leads directly to the seabed. When floating, air is injected into the corresponding ballast water tank through the 4 large air compressors equipped on the ship, and the ballast water in the ballast tank will be automatically discharged from the ship, and the ship will float. When the ship did diving experiments in the sea trial, it took only 3.5 hours to dive to a predetermined depth, and the comprehensive performance of the submersible float was excellent.
