Mist Theater's another suspense drama "Gold Rush" was launched, which was adapted from a popular post on a certain platform, starring Liao Fan's partner Chen Feiyu, a popular combination of strength and traffic. Because of the convergence of many eye-catching elements, this drama has attracted attention before it began broadcasting.
The drama takes gold panning as the main element, and the plot is divided into two main lines, one is That Wu Jianchao, played by Liao Fan, leads his brothers in an adventure to pan for gold, and the other is Chen Baojin, played by Chen Feiyu, who secretly investigates the truth of his brother's murder. The two story lines are intertwined, and both sides have their own thoughts, whether they are friends or foes, and it is difficult to distinguish. Coupled with the menacing presence of many gold diggers, this gold rush journey is also full of thrills.
The beginning of the story is not surprising, first a few PPT-style background introductions, followed by a sensational description of the gold panning process, the original dark black tone, after being interpreted by Chen Feiyu's voiceover, the seconds became a youth version of "Gold Rush on the Tip of the Tongue".
Immediately after, Chen Baojin, played by Chen Feiyu, took the lead in appearing, and he came to The Wood Field to apply for a gold panist, but he lost. During this period of time, Chen Feiyu was trying to turn from an idol to a rustic boy, but unfortunately his eyes were empty, and even the action of carrying a school bag was a bit twisted, lacking the coolness of a young man. Especially compared with the guy in the same frame, it is not as flexible as the other party, and there is a sense of substitution.
When the camera is closer, Chen Feiyu's acting disadvantages are clearly visible, and there is no content in his eyes, just like the ignorant teenager in the youth film. When he showed off his gold panning skills to the recruiters in the field, the expression on his face was completely a domineering president's performance mode, which made people watch the play.
When he played against Liao Fan, the heights appeared. Liao Fan's simple questioning, from the inside out with his own emotions, and Chen Feiyu's evil smile when answering did not add points, but made this character have a feeling of schizophrenia, and it was inconsistent with the previous behaviors. Lu Xiaolin's Ah Qiu is sandwiched between the two, one side is entangled with Wu Jianchao, and the other side is doing undercover for Lao Shan, and she can't tell how she will take sides. In fact, she had cooperated with Liao Fan in "The Silent Truth" before. This time playing a similar role again, Lu Xiaolin gradually entered a better situation, thin cheeks and black and yellow skin tone made her closer to the image of the gold digger, the eyes seemed careless, but showed the complex heart of this female character.
As far as the two episodes currently aired, the narrative rhythm is too slow, the lack of suspenseful focus points, coupled with the huge number of characters in the Four Wood Field, in addition to the two bosses, the other characters are mostly a quick glance, resulting in some confusion in the relationship between the characters.
But the drama is not useless, the open and dark struggle between the two bosses is full of highlights, Wu Jianchao is domineering on the surface, but in fact he does not have an advantage, and is suppressed by the other party everywhere in the golden field. And Lao Shan openly wanted to win Over Wu Jianchao a big deal, and secretly let Ah Qiu use beauty to him.
In the Four Wood Field, the two teams of people and horses are also surging in the dark tide, one side cooperating to pan for gold, and the other side wants to swallow each other. With the murder of a gold digger and the disappearance of Ah Qiu's son, the whole plot gradually turns to a climax, which also leads to the real motivation of Chen Baojin to come to pan for gold, and the big guy behind the scenes, "Owl", also begins to surface.
Mist Theater has already pounced on the street twice before, "Who is the murderer" has not been able to become a hit, the current follow-up pressure to watch this drama is not small, if the first few episodes can not attract fans, then the follow-up can only be a flat ending, I hope the follow-up can bring surprises!
