While setting fire to the house, they chased after the masses and wanted to rob the masses of their belongings, and this despicable act of this group of puppet soldiers was just seen by Xue Huafu and others who heard the news.
At this time, Xue Huafu quietly turned to a person next to him and said, "Runan, knock that guy down." ”
Only to see this man pick up his gun and pull the trigger with lightning speed, and one of the puppet soldiers fell to the ground in response.
Seeing this scene, this group of puppet soldiers was horrified, and while hurriedly carrying the corpse to escape, they shouted in panic: "This shot was not fired by someone else, it must be Feng Runan, and it must be settled with him." ”
And the Feng Runan they are talking about is a heroic figure known as a "sharpshooter" in Lianshui County, Jiangsu Province.
Feng Runan was born in 1913, he is a native of Qiuling Village, Donghu Ji Township, Lianshui County, Jiangsu Province, he has a good family, because he was born in a landlord family, and when he was young, he liked to dance guns and sticks, and there were self-defense guns at home, so he practiced a good marksmanship, which was called "sharpshooter" at that time, and he was also quite prestigious in the local area.
Later, in 1939, the Japanese army invaded Lianshui, and because of his reputation, the Japanese puppet army hoped to use him after hearing about him.
So the puppet army sent a man who could speak, and said to him, "You give us your strength, and you will give whatever official you want." ”
Who knew that after Feng Runan listened, not only was he not moved by the temptation of official positions, but he was dismissive and said firmly: "Don't go, I am Chinese." ”
When Feng Runan said these words, his eyes revealed unshakable perseverance, and his words also fully demonstrated his strong national integrity.
Not long after, when our party organized the anti-Japanese armed struggle in the Lianshui and Coastal areas, it actively won the participation of people with lofty ideals from all walks of life in the struggle.
At this time, Xue Huafu of our party often traveled back and forth with the Feng family, and naturally had some contact with Feng Runan, and had long heard of the name of Feng Runan's sharpshooter, so he wasted no time in educating and fighting for Feng Runan.
Feng Runan, touched by our party's resolute fighting spirit and great national spirit, said resolutely: "You can rest assured that I will resolutely serve the Communist Party and fight to the end against the Japanese devils." ”
It was also during the period when the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression lasted, and due to the increasing intensity of the anti-Japanese battles in northern Jiangsu, there was often a fierce struggle between the enemy and ourselves in Feng Runan's hometown, and it was at this stage that Feng Runan's shooting of the puppet army in one morning appeared.
Later, in 1941, Xue Huafu lived in Feng Runan's home because of the expansion of the army and guns.
At that time, a group of puppet troops in Lianshui County received the wind and immediately rushed to arrest Xue Huafu.
Feng Runan, knowing the news in advance, quickly hid dozens of guns in the firewood bundles and puddles in his home, and quickly let Xue Huafu withdraw from the path.
At this moment, the enemy had already come to the gate of the Feng family and shouted loudly outside the door: "Feng Runan, hand over Xue Huafu, this matter has nothing to do with you, otherwise we will be sorry." ”
Who knew that In the face of the enemy's arrogant arrogance, Feng Runan, not frightened or afraid, Dayi awe-inspiringly took the barge gun, opened the iron railing, pointed the gun at the puppet army, and said: "Xue Huafu is not here, if you don't believe it, come in and look for it, but don't move around, whoever moves the gun will kill whom, saying that hitting your left eye will not hit your right eye." ”
Since this group of puppet soldiers had long heard of Feng Runan's name, they were all frightened and trembling, and did not dare to act rashly, and sure enough, none of them dared to reach out and touch their guns, they probably took a look, saw that Xue Huafu was really not there, and could only turn away helplessly.
Unfortunately, not long after, that is, on April 1, 1942, when the Japanese army was flowing from Funing to the area of Xiaobu Village in Donghuji Township, it was burning and looting, and Feng Runan, because he did not understand the situation of the enemy army, thought that only a small number of puppet troops came in to harass, so he gathered some people in the village and planned to carry out an ambush.
He led these men to occupy a favorable geographical position and exchange fire with the Japanese army, but because of the poor equipment, in addition to his own gun, the others were only spears and large knives.
They stood on the top of the ditch and took advantage of the fire to knock down several enemies in a row, and the enemy panicked, but the enemy later took a closer look and found that we had only one gun, so they used machine gun cover to attack us.
Finally, under the suppression of fire, the enemy gathered a platoon of troops and rushed towards Feng Runan.
When Feng Runan waited for the enemy to approach, he instantly threw out two grenades, blowing the enemy out of sight, and when the enemy saw that the attack from the front could not be achieved, he had a treacherous plan, detoured from both sides, and sent a ghost who was good at marksmanship to quietly cat on a grave behind Feng Runan.
When Feng Runan got up and shot at the enemy army, he was unfortunately shot in the back of the head by the enemy's shooter, and he was only 29 years old when he died.
On June 11, 1942, the Liandong County Committee of the Communist Party of China held a memorial service for Feng Runan and other martyrs in Qiuling Village.
Later, in the second year, the Yanfu Special Bureau of Jiangsu Province, in order to commemorate the heroes and martyrs who died in the Yanfu area due to the anti-Japanese resistance, built the Anti-Japanese Martyrs Memorial Tower, and the heroic name of the hero Feng Runan was also engraved on the monument.
