He was secretly surprised, thinking that Guan Panpan, a famous prostitute of the Tang Dynasty, had something to do with him. Liu Jieshi asked Qi Xian, "Which two marriages are written on the plate?" Xian said, "For details, please see "The Story of the West Lake." He burned paper charms and prayed again, and asked the immortal, "Can you meet with this longing?" The immortal said, "Just tonight."
In the evening of that day, Liu Jieshi was really sick, his eyes were dazed and he was delirious. His wives and concubines were very frightened and sat around the bed to guard. Shortly after dark, a gust of wind struck, and then a beautiful woman dressed gracefully from head to toe, clinging to a red gauze lamp, walked into the house and rushed straight to Liu Jieshi. Liu Jieshi was so frightened that he sweated like rain, and his heart began to regret it. But the woman said, "Are you afraid of me?" It's just that our fate has not yet arrived. After saying that, go out and leave. Liu Jieshi's illness also improved. From now on, as long as Liu Jieshi thought about the woman in his mind, the woman would definitely come to date Liu.
Once, Liu Jieshi stayed at the Tianning Temple in Yangzhou. The autumn rain was endless, Liu Jieshi sat alone, and Yan was not happy. He thought again of the woman who was "looking forward to it", took out the tray again, and burned the paper note. On the chaotic plate was written in large characters: "I am Vedic Buddha." Seeing that you were confused by the monster, he came to your rescue. Don't you know the Heavenly Rules? What the Heavenly Emperor hated most was the handover of the living people of the world to the ghosts and gods, and this sin was much greater than the ordinary sin of fornication. In the future, you must quickly reform yourself, and don't ask for fairy ghosts again, otherwise you are only afraid that you will kill yourself!" Liu Jieshi was immediately creeped out when he saw the words, and just kowtowed. So he burned the tray and discarded the paper notes, and did not dare to do such a thing again. Since then, no ghosts have appeared.
A few years later, Liu Jieshi read "The Tale of the West Lake", and saw that in taizhou in the last era, there was an official prostitute Ma Panpan whose tomb was on the left side of the Taizhou capital Yamen, and read from the "Green Box Magazine" that Ma Panpan was a person, clever and sensitive, who could write a hand of Su Dongpo's characters. Only then did Liu Jieshi understand that the demon that appeared was not Guan Panpan at all.
