Tuchel: We want to fight for every championship, for every race to win

Chelsea boss Tuchel was named FIFA Manager of the Year on January 18, and he was interviewed by reporters.

What is it like to be the best coach in the world?

Tuchel: It's incredible, it feels more than reality. I want to keep that state. I know who I need to thank, it's a team award, a team sport, not an individual award from the coach.

I am very grateful for the support of the club, the support of the coaching staff, and all the people who have always believed in me and supported me. Unbelievable, I was very, very happy.

How did Chelsea get to where they are now?

I don't know if we're a benchmark for other strong teams, it all requires a strong team, strong players, for both women's and men's teams.

It's a competition to fight for the players, the mentality of the club is good and it creates a good atmosphere where people are able to reach their full potential and that's the combination that is now.

For me, being a coach requires the right luck. The mentality also needs to match the attitude of the club, the style should also match the style of the club, and the communication should also pay attention to the way and method.

So I'm comfortable now, valued and happy. Chelsea are like you see from the outside, we want to fight for every title, for every win and it's great to be a part of it.
