Live bar January 18 news After the Victory over Bilbao in the Western Super Cup, Real Madrid won the first title of the season. After joining Real Madrid last summer, Austrian centre-back Alaba won his first trophy at the Bernabeu in just 27 games.

For Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti, Alaba is the only new face in his starting line-up for the Real Madrid 2.0 era. However, the Austrian centre-back lived up to expectations and this season he came up with a fairly consistent play.

Since Bayern's debut in the DFB-Pokal against Fürth on 10 February 2010, Alaba has only not recorded a title that season. Since then, the Austrians have had at least one title in each season.

During his time at Bayern, Alaba won 10 Bundesliga titles (the last 9 consecutive Bundesliga titles), 6 German Cups, 5 German Super Cups and two Champions League titles. He also has two European Super Cups and Club World Cup titles in the book.

The 29-year-old Alaba has now won 28 trophies and looks like he's likely to win the league for 10 consecutive seasons. In the Real Madrid squad, only Benzema's number of champions can be compared to Alaba, the French won 7 titles in Lyon, 20 titles at Real Madrid and helped France win the European Nations League.
