The Yellow River in the Sangyuan Gorge is turbulent, but there is a large stone standing in the yellow river rapids in the middle of the Sangyuan Gorge. The people called it the General's Pillar. Legend has it that this general pillar was built by Lu Ban. When Lu Ban traveled around the world, he came to the edge of the Mulberry Garden Gorge to facilitate the exchanges between the people on both sides of the strait. Lu Ban chose the location of the pier in the place of the general's column.
Since then, Lu Ban has been out early and returned late, responsible for construction, half a year has passed, and the piers are gradually growing taller. One day, Lu Ban's wife brought food to the shore, waited for a while to see Lu Ban, then went to the shore to see what was going on, who knew that she saw a giant standing in the river on the shore, holding a boulder in one hand and a hammer in the other hand, and his wife screamed.
Lu Ban panicked and smashed a hammer on his leg. The stone in his hand also flew to the mountain on the opposite bank, and the bridge was not built. There is still a very smooth stone on the general's pillar, as if the back of the whole person has been printed, and in the middle is the spine, which divides the stone in two, as if it was left behind by a long period of rest. Legend has it that this was what Lu Ban left behind when he built the bridge.
