Directed by Chen Zheyi, the film "Tropical Rain" will be broadcast on Youku from 16:00 on October 17, starring Yang Yanyan and Hui Jiale, and tells the story of Lin Shuling, a teacher who desperately wants children, and the gradual ambiguity between her student Guo Weilun in an unsatisfactory life.

"Tropical Rain" was released at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8, 2019, and the film won the 3rd Pingyao International Film Festival Fei Mu Honorary Best Film, the 37th Turin International Film Festival Best Screenplay, and was shortlisted for the main competition unit of the 41st Cairo International Film Festival, the main competition unit of the 60th Thessaloniki International Film Festival, and the 56th Taiwan Film Golden Horse Awards.

Director Chen Zheyi won the Special Mention Award for Best Short Film in the Cornerstone and Short Film Section of the 60th Cannes International Film Festival for his short film "Grandma", the Golden Camera Award at the 66th Cannes International Film Festival, the Best Film Award and the Best New Director Award at the 50th Taiwan Film Golden Horse Awards for his film "Mom and Dad Are Not Home".

On October 17, the science fiction film "Cosmic Exploration Editorial Department", directed by Kong Dashan and produced by Wang Hongwei and Guo Fan, was shortlisted for the "Hidden Dragon" section of the 5th Pingyao International Film Festival and held its world premiere in Pingyao.

"Cosmic Exploration Editorial Department" tells the story of Tang Zhijun, the nearly middle-aged editor of science fiction magazine, who mistakenly entered a ridiculous journey to find an extraterrestrial civilization because of a puzzle that puzzled him all his life. At the premiere press conference, director Kong Dashan called it a "pseudo-documentary style film." Previously, the film won the Best Original Screenplay Award of the Three-Body Universe of the Chinese Science Fiction Convention.

"Cosmic Exploration Editorial Department" is the first film invested and produced by Guo Fan Studio since "The Wandering Earth", Guo Fan has directed "You at the Same Table" and "The Wandering Earth" and other works, and won the Best Feature Film Award at the 32nd Golden Rooster Awards of Chinese Film with "The Wandering Earth". Wang Hongwei, the film's executive producer, is an associate professor of the Directing Department of the Beijing Film Academy, and his participating screenwriting works include "Green Grass", "Crazy Stone", "Wandering Earth" and so on.
