Mannight: Manchester United are considering recalling Pelletri, with many Championship teams interested in loan

According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are considering whether to terminate Pellitri's loan in Alaves, and the player has attracted the interest of some Championship clubs.

The Uruguayan minor was re-loaned to Alaves in the summer window last year, initially moving early last year, but the player has struggled to get regular playing time. The 20-year-old, Pelletri, currently has just 679 minutes of playing in 19 appearances, with most of his playing time on the bench. Alaves changed manager last month, Mendy Lival replaced Kayeja, and Pelletri has only 5 minutes to play under his new boss so far, although he missed a game for a coronavirus positive.

It's unclear where the youngster is in Alaves' plans, but United do have the option to recall him this month as there is a clause in his loan deal that United could terminate a loan early if he doesn't play the full 1,000 minutes by the beginning of December. Spain reported that Alaves may also seek to terminate the trade early as the club looks to stabilize the current squad to fight for relegation. It is understood that if Pelistri returns to Manchester United this month, some clubs have shown interest in loaning Perristri, although the decision is still in the hands of the Spanish club.

In October 2020, United bought Pelistri from Penarol for £9m, but he has yet to play for the first team. Fran recommended the player to former team-mate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who made his first-team appearances in pre-season and scored a beautiful goal against Derby County.
