Externally, the new generation of Mondeo uses the latest design of the Ford family, the upper part is a narrow and sharp LED daytime running light, and is connected by an LED daytime running light strip to make it look very recognizable, and the large grille is supplemented by a scaly design, and the left and right sides are matched with split headlights. According to the previous declaration information of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new generation of Mondeo will also provide an ST Line version, so that it has a variety of front face design, different front bumper design, but also shows different front face styles.
On the side of the body, the new model adopts the color matching of the two-color body and adopts a slip-on body design. In addition, the new model features a segmented waistline design with concealed door handles. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new generation of Mondeo are 4935 * 1875 * 1500mm, and the wheelbase is 2945mm, whether it is body size or wheelbase, it has a certain improvement with the current model.
The tail light adopts the popular through-line design, the two sides use a three-stage structure, from the previous declaration information, the ST Line version is also equipped with a small duck tail on the luggage compartment, with a total of two exhaust and central diffusers on the lower bilateral sides, highlighting a strong sports atmosphere.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 2.0T four-cylinder turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 175 kW (238 hp), matching the 8-speed automatic transmission.
At the debut, the official did not announce the interior design, but according to the interior design of Ford EVOS and the Lincoln Z model of the same platform, the new generation of Mondeo will also adopt the design of the through-line large joint screen, highlighting the overall sense of technology inside. At the same time, the wheelbase of 2940mm is also worth looking forward to in terms of its space. The new generation of Mondeo will be officially launched this year.
