The platform has the customs inspection qualification of special items, and superimposes the functional advantages of "bonded + port" with measures such as customs declaration after entering the zone first, distributing and collecting reports, and entering the warehouse for inspection. On the same day, the first batch of laboratory research cytokine reagent shipments completed the entire inspection process in only 5 minutes on the platform.
As the basic materials required for research and development in the biomedical industry, special items such as imported biological reagents need to be transported to qualified sites for customs inspection before they can enter the bonded area for storage. After the public inspection platform for special items in Tianzhu Comprehensive Protection Zone is activated, the imported special items are directly transported to the platform through the district port channel after being picked up at the capital airport, and the customs can be stored in the warehouse after completing the inspection. As a result, the efficiency of customs clearance is improved, and the time and labor costs of enterprises are reduced.
"With the special item inspection platform, it is fast and convenient, and the logistics cost alone can save nearly 200,000 yuan a year." Han Zhenhai, deputy chief of the health supervision section of Tianzhu Customs under Beijing Customs, introduced that the platform has the necessary conditions for inspecting the import of high-risk and low-risk special items, and according to the different attributes of the goods, three inspection functional areas are set up, and the outer packaging disinfection area and buffer room are also set up, which effectively improves the biosecurity control ability in the inspection process and further promotes the development of the biomedical industry in the Tianzhu Comprehensive Protection Zone.
