Everybody: Barca's decision to bring in Ferran Torres led to the breakdown of Dembele's contract renewal negotiations

According to the Daily Sports Newspaper, Barca's signing of Ferran Torres has made Dembele completely cut off the idea of renewing his contract.

Dembele demanded an annual salary of 20 million euros and a handsome bonus in December last year, and Barca agreed to negotiate on the subject, the newspaper said.

But the club then signed Ferran Torres, which undermined the possibility of any deal with Dembele. The Team of French Strikers believes that the decision to bring in Ferran Torres at a high price either shows that Barca's economic ability has been restored or that they prefer to invest in another attacking player.

As a result, Dembele's position became firmer, leading to the collapse of the ensuing negotiations.
