On the evening of April 2, 2021, the 45th Hong Kong International Film Festival held a screening of "Spring Break", after which Zedong Pictures released a 30-minute 30th anniversary mixed cut special.
The theme of the special edition is "Passing by, Long Farewell reunion", including the opening shots, classic pictures and unexposed pictures of Wong Kar-wai's classics such as "Spring Breaks", "East Evil and West Poison", "Fancy Years", "Generation Grandmaster", "Ah Fei Zheng Biography", "2046", "Chongqing Forest", "Blueberry Night" and other Wong Kar Wai classics, such as a scene cut by Zhang Guorong in "Spring Break".
The first one to share is Zhang Guorong's first shot of "East Evil and West Poison", but unfortunately because the soundtrack is lost, only the picture has no sound.
Although I was not able to watch it on the spot, I was very excited to see the repo of the live moviegoers.
