If you want to become an executioner, you must practice hard work. Practice with a knife against the winter melon every day. This is mainly to practice two aspects: first, to practice arm strength, can you cut the winter melon into two petals with a knife. The second is to practice crosshairs. Usually the winter melon will be crossed with a horizontal line to see if your knife just lands on the horizontal line.
After the executioner is trained, he can go to work. Executioners are also quite elaborate when they go on a mission.
Usually they would sharpen their knives and burn incense the night before; before execution, they would ask the prisoner's name so as not to mislead the person. At the time of execution, it will cause a person standing on the side to attract the attention of the prisoner, and the executioner will finish with a knife in his hand when the prisoner is not paying attention.
After doing his job, the executioner will go to the yamen without turning his head back, and will also ask the yacha to put his ass as a sign of obscurity.
Of course, although this is a profession, it must be a killing karma, so the executioner has an unspoken rule that no more than 99 heads are beheaded, otherwise they will be punished. The last Chinese executioner mentioned earlier, Deng Haishan, because he only knew this craft, and the salary of this work was relatively high, it is said that in the late Qing Dynasty, he beheaded and had four ocean subsidies. So Deng Haishan did not heed Master's advice, and he cut until China abolished the punishment, which is reported to have beheaded more than 300 times.
I don't know if there is really retribution, Deng Haishan's later years are indeed more bitter, because his fame is too loud, most people are reluctant to approach him, he did not marry a wife and no descendants, until the old age died at home, no one collected the body.
