Mannight: Lonnick has discussed a reinforcement plan with Manchester United's top brass and is not expected to bring in reinforcements in the winter window

Manchester Evening News reported on January 15 that Lonnick has recently met with the senior management of Manchester United clubs to discuss the team's future transfer operations, mainly focusing on the summer window.

Lonnick discussed United's reinforcement plans with football directors Murtaf, Woodward and Alexander-Arnold last week. As things stand, United are not expected to bring in reinforcements this winter window, as they believe the team's long-term goal will not flow into the transfer market this month.

According to sources, Manchester United generally draw up a list of main targets at this time of year and start working. United's priority this summer will be a midfielder, and the team will also consider bringing in another attacker.

Meanwhile, Lonnick is not sure if Anthony Martial will leave this month, and Sevilla's previous offer for Anthony Martial was rejected as United wanted to receive £6m on loan and demanded that the other side bear Martial's full salary.
