Meta faces around $3.2 billion in class actions in the UK: accused of abusing its dominant market position

On January 14, Facebook parent company Meta reportedly faces a £2.3 billion ($3.2 billion) class action lawsuit in the UK over allegations that the company abused its market dominance by exploiting the personal data of 44 million users. The lawsuit will be heard by the London Court of Competition Appeal.
