The film takes the honest government culture and cultural relics in Shaanxi history as the material, takes the two great unification eras of the foundation stage of Chinese civilization - western Zhou and Qin as the narrative basis, expands to the Han, Tang, Song and other dynasties, highlights the core of "honesty", and cuts from six angles: the source of honesty, the core of honesty, the legal system of honesty, the spirit of honesty, the world of honesty, and the speculation of honesty, and is divided into six episodes: "The Discernment of the Source of Honesty", "The Way of Governance", "The Law of Responsibility", "The Virtue of Self-Cultivation", "The Feeling of the Family and the Country", and "The Lessons of Rise and Fall". The systematic combing outlines the origin of China's early idea of clean government and its subsequent development.
