The Beijing Morning Post published a large photograph of me holding piles of prizes. The newspaper described me as a go genius, and I became famous in the city of Beijing.
In 1927, I won Liu Dihuai with white chess and became a veritable first person in the Beijing chess world. This summer, Inoue Visited Beijing. He let my second son play the game and I won. Then he let go of three sets first, resulting in one win, one loss and one hit. At that time, players with more than four dan were willing to make an unusual decision to let the first game be played, and Inoue's move was quite knowledgeable, and he was proud of it after that. After he returned to Japan, he praised me as a "genius who is better than a once seen", and this sentence spread throughout the Japanese chess world. At that time, I completely obeyed the arrangements of my mother and eldest brother, and I was not at all at ease about going to Japan, thinking that I could just follow their decision. In addition, according to Hashimoto, he also received three hundred yuan from General Jin, which was a thank you gift for playing experimental chess with me. At that time, I could live comfortably for a month with only a hundred yuan, so Hashimoto told me that this money could really come in handy.
In this way, after the date of Todo was also finalized, the eldest brother and I went to Mr. Yamazaki to learn Japanese with his beautiful lady and make various preparations.
