Instructions for applying for athletes' technical grades

According to the Measures for the Administration of Athletes' Technical Grades (Order No. 18 of the General Administration of Sport of the People's Republic of China), the procedures for applying for athletes' technical grades by international athletes and athletes in golf sports are explained as follows.

1. Apply for qualifications

Athletes who meet the criteria for golfing rank (hereinafter referred to as applicants) shall apply for a grade title within 6 months after the achievement of the results, and applications beyond this period will not be accepted. Year-end rankings are based on the time of publication, and other competitions are based on the time of achievement.

2. Collect materials certifying achievements

(1) The applicant shall obtain the results certification materials from the Organizing Committee of the Event or the relevant units.

(2) Achievement certification materials include order books, achievement books, award certificates, official achievement announcements, year-end rankings, etc.

(3) Domestic competitions shall obtain the order book and the result book from the Organizing Committee of the Competition; the international competition shall obtain the officially announced results (including the results published on the official website); the year-end ranking of the China Higher Education Association can be obtained on the official website of the China Higher Education Association; and the world year-end ranking can be obtained from the official website of the corresponding international organization.

3. Submit an application

The applicant submits an application to his/her unit (the provincial, regional, and municipal sports administrative departments where the national athletes are registered, the provincial golf association, the municipal sports administrative department where the household registration is located, the sports team, the school where the applicant is registered, etc.) and submits the following materials:
