[Recommend a good example] "Red Hut" inherits the red gene

Walking into the ancient city of Weihui in northern Henan, on the 9-meter-high flagpole in the courtyard of No. 16 Shengli Road, the bright red party flag is hung all year round, which is the "red maolu" of Han Xuliang, a retired old cadre and old party member of Weihui City in Xinxiang.

This veteran Communist Party member with more than 60 years of party experience has arranged his small courtyard into a "red courtyard" that inherits the red gene of "listening to the party, feeling the gratitude of the party, and following the party", which is called "red hut". In this courtyard with the characteristics of northern residences, the plaque of the title of "Red Maolu" 2021 Xinxiang Lifelong Learning Brand Project is particularly eye-catching.

For more than 20 years after retirement, every "July 1st", the elderly Han Xuliang must lead his family to relive the oath of joining the party under the party flag, not forget the original intention, and always follow the party.

The elderly Han Xuliang was born in 1942, and since he was a child, he learned to be diligent and thrifty under the influence and education of his parents, and inherited the family style of self-improvement and hard work. Under the party's education and cultivation, he went from a rural teacher to a government leader, always keeping in mind the party's purpose and retiring from his post without fading.

The elderly Han Xuliang retired to the second line and practiced the art of calligraphy and painting, using pen and ink to inherit the red culture, because of his outstanding achievements, he was hired as an academician of the Central Academy of Calligraphy and Painting Art.

The elderly Han Xuliang insisted on doing public welfare undertakings and donated money and materials to the disadvantaged groups. He saved money and raised tens of thousands of yuan to build his small courtyard into a "red courtyard" that inherited red genes, and used red culture to educate future generations. With the continuous expansion of the influence of the "Red Hut", many party members came to revisit the oath of joining the party and remember the original mission. Elder Han Xuliang gave away calligraphy works such as "Serving the People" and "Not Forgetting the Mission of the Initial Heart" to the visitors for free, using the art of red calligraphy to inherit the red gene, planting patriotic feelings, and interpreting the glorious image of a Communist Party member with his own practical actions.
