[Global Times reporter Han Lin] The British "Daily Mail" reported on the 10th that in order to promote the concept of environmental protection, residents of a seaside town in northern Wales took a nude calendar, which was unexpectedly popular.

It is reported that a total of 12 local employees volunteered to participate in this environmental fundraising activity, they took the unique seascape of northern Wales as the background, stripped naked and posed for photos, and then made a calendar for charity bazaar. They also raised funds to create a whale-tail-shaped recycling bin on the corniche. This is the second time the town has hosted such an event, and they have written to Sir David Attenborough, a well-known BBC host and naturalist, inviting him to attend the opening ceremony of the charity fundraiser. However, the "shy" Sir Attenborough did not show up, but simply wrote them a thank-you letter by hand. Sally Smart, secretary of the town's business association, quipped, "He was probably intimidated by such an 'honest' calendar."
