Former coach: Vlahović has always wanted to be Ibrahimovic No one knows where his ceiling is

Former Belgrade guerrilla coach Zako Lazetic was interviewed by Sky Sports today about his previous experiences working with Vlahović.

Lazetic said in an interview: "After one or two training sessions, our head coach Ivan Tomic said: 'This guy is a devil and he's going to be worth €100 million someday.'" Because he showed extraordinary ability. I remember we played a 10-on-10 game where we pit him against the current vice-captain in La Liga, Brassanaci (Osasuna), who had the upper hand and was like he was already a first-team player, which was incredible for a 15-year-old player. ”

"In the 2016 match against Sudulica, we were already 2-0 behind and Vlahović was substituted at half-time to score the first goal for the team and eventually the team won 3-2. Subsequently, everyone knew what his future would be like. ”

"His left foot is very good, he can score through free kicks, penalties, but he can do anything because he has a strong character. For all young players, character is the most important thing because it gives them the opportunity to show their abilities. A lot of players have talent, but because of their personality, they don't always show it. Vlahović has a very good personality and a good working attitude. Every day he wants to improve in all aspects of football, including physical fitness, tactics and technique. That's where he's different. ”

"When I was an assistant coach he was 16 and there were a few games he didn't play, but we won the game and the next day it was all holiday, but he would call me and say: 'Please coach, can we train?' We did a lot, shooting training and so on. ”

"Being Ibrahimovic is what he's always wanted and for young players it's an example of a dream come true. There is no doubt that he quickly reached such a level, a year ago he was just an ordinary player in Fiorentina and did not score a lot. But everyone who worked with him knew he would get to that level sooner or later. No one knows where his ceiling is, and it seems that the sky is his limit.
