From prodigy to "parallel cargo", what has Jovic experienced?

Luka Jovic is finally getting back in form at Real Madrid. He joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2019, and in more than two years it was his best moment at the Bernabeu.

Benzema is certainly strong, but that doesn't mean Jovic can't win a spot on his own – players are often rewarded if they can perform well enough.

For example, Brazilian centre-back Militan, who performed well in several hard fights at the end of last season, made the club decide to let go of Varane and Ramos, and this season the Brazilian has become an absolute mainstay in the team. Now, is it Jovic's turn to operate?

Jovic was born on 13 December 1997 in Bijeljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina. His father, Milan Jovic, was a former footballer and his mother was Stevelana Jovic.

As a child, Jovic and his parents lived in the batar countryside, 14 miles south of Bijeljina, when the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina was unstable, and Luka Jovic's father, Milan Jovic, was not a successful footballer either, and he was only given the opportunity to play amateur football in partisan Belgrade, where jovic's life as a child was not prosperous.

However, with his father's family upbringing, Luka Jovic was introduced to football at the age of 5, which laid the foundation for his future career as football. In 2004, Jovic entered Belgrade's Mini Maxi for children aged 4-12 for more on-track football training.

Jovic's father is said to have taught him how to handle the ball with his feet before jovic entered mini maxi, and jovic quickly showed a talent for the others at mini maxi, scoring a hat-trick in his first game, and the team even promised Jovic's father a cash reward: for every goal Luca scored, his father would receive 50 euros.

Soon after, Jovic was discovered by scouts from the national giants Red Star Belgrade, and Jovic successfully passed the Red Star test and joined the Red Star team.

Not only the Red Star, but also the Belgrade Guerrillas were also interested in Jovic, but the Jovic family eventually chose to accept the Red Star's offer.

In May 2014, at the age of 16, Luka Jovic was given the opportunity to play for Red Star and entered the first team of Red Star Belgrade in the summer of that year.

Jovic idolized Ibrahimovic and Falcao as his idols, and soon Jovic's performance in Red Star was recognized, and he even broke the record held by the famous star Dejan Stankovic, becoming the youngest player in Red Star history to score for the first team, known as the "prodigy" of Red Star. In January 2016, Jovic attracted the attention of Portuguese superstar Benfica, and his career entered a new phase.

However, Jovic's time in Benfica was not happy. Jovic spent a season and a half in Portugal, during which time he made only four appearances for the Benfica first team and even relegated to Benfica B at one point.

In July 2017, Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt, which would later make Jovic famous, loaned Jovic from Benfica. In Eintracht Frankfurt, Jovic was very comfortable with football and unleashed his football talents, scoring 36 goals in 75 appearances in Eintracht Frankfurt's two seasons.

In the 2018-19 season, he scored 27 goals in a single season, and he formed a golden partnership with Alai and Rebic, becoming one of the hottest strikers in the Bundesliga. Many clubs have sent scouts to observe the young goalscorer: can Jovic be among the first-line forwards in Europe?

In the summer of 2019, Real Madrid decided to sign Jovic for 60 million euros. Real Madrid have Benzema, and it is difficult for Jovic to become the main force immediately, but this transfer fee still proves what Real Madrid expects of Jovic.

Real Madrid also signed Eden Hazard, Mendy, Militang and Rodrigo that summer, with Mendy quickly becoming the main player, and Militang at the end of last season, and the young Rodrigo gradually grew... Only Hazard and Jovic have been slow to get into the form.

In the 16th round of La Liga earlier this month, Jovic scored 1 goal and 1 assist, teammates celebrated his goal with excitement, and Jovic's performance on the field won praise.

Will this be the beginning of Jovic's "recovery" at Real Madrid? For more than two years, Jovic's performance has been criticized by many people, and he has even become a forgotten name.

But under the experienced Ancelotti, Jovic seems to be on track to find himself, his back-to-back confrontation, ball protection, passing and snatching points in front of goal are impressive, even if his technical characteristics are very different from Benzema, Jovic can still play his value at Real Madrid.
