Reinforcing left-back, Manchester City are interested in Brazil's 21-year-old Abnel Vinicius

Tiger Punch, Jan. 13 (13 January) -- Transfer news from The Daily Telegraph reporter Mike McGrath reported that Manchester City are interested in Brazilian side Atlético Parana's 21-year-old left-back Abner Vinícius, who is currently scrambling to find a long-term left-back player.

Abnel Vinicius, 21, helped Brazil win gold at the Tokyo Olympics last summer, and City's scouts have been following Abnère Vinicius' performances since then while playing for Fernandinho's former owner, Atlético Paraná.

City are evaluating the choice of left-back, Zinchenko is currently the only orthodox left-back in City and Cancelo has often switched from right to left to left to play as a left-back.

Abnel Vinicius joined Atlético Parana in July 2019 for a transfer fee of €2.4 million and is believed to be heading to European football in the future.

While Manchester City brought in Fernandinho from Shakhtar Donetsk, City brought in Gabriel Jesus from Palmeiras, Brazil, in 2017, and Douglas Luiz, who currently plays for Aston Villa, from Vasco da Gama, Brazil.
