Located in the north of China, Erenhot Highway Port is the largest land port between China and Mongolia, as well as an important node city on the "Belt and Road" construction and the "China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor", the only entry and exit port of the China-Europe express train central line channel, and an important channel for domestic goods exported to Mongolia, Russia and Europe.
The reporter learned that at present, in the Erenhot Huanyu Logistics Park, container trucks full of export goods have been prepared to clear customs and leave the country after a series of disinfection and inspection procedures. It is reported that in the early stage of customs clearance at the highway port, the export of Chinese containers and commodity vehicles was carried out, about 30 boxes per day, and the import business was not carried out for the time being.
Since the outbreak of the new crown epidemic in Erenhot on October 13, 2021, the Erenhot Highway Port has been closed due to the needs of epidemic prevention and control. At present, the Erenhot Highway Port has comprehensively standardized preventive disinfection and disinfection, reformed and innovated the existing customs clearance and inspection mode, and changed from the original connection transportation mode to the container hoisting transportation mode.
