【Zhongyuan Economic Network News】The Yellow River Basin Soap Pod Industry Seminar was recently held in Sanmenxia City, and experts and enterprise representatives discussed the construction of the whole industrial chain of soap pods in the Yellow River Basin.
Delegates at the meeting believed that the soil and climate of Henan, Shandong, Shanxi, Shaanxi and other provinces in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River are very suitable for planting saponaria trees, and the large-scale development of saponaria trees is conducive to protecting the ecosystem of the Yellow River Basin, and the processing and utilization of saponaria fruit has significant economic benefits. Experts suggest that on the basis of the National Innovation Alliance of Characteristic Woody Polysaccharides, accelerate the establishment of a joint research mechanism for production, education and research, promote the rapid and healthy development of the soap pod industry, and provide characteristic industrial support for the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin. The conference was hosted by the National Innovation Alliance of Characteristic Woody Polysaccharides led by Beijing Forestry University, and the woody polysaccharide innovation research team of Beilin University presided over the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" and "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" national science and technology research and development plan related to saponarias, formed a series of research results in the technological innovation of the efficient utilization of non-wood resources of saponarias, and presided over the formulation of national and forestry industry standards such as "Saponaria Polysaccharide Gum" and "Saponaria Saponins".
