Cruel to the extreme! A man kills a flesh and blood relative

Recently, a man in Sri Lanka's North-West governorate appeared in court on suspicion of killing his ten-month-old child.

A police spokesman said the man and his girlfriend attended a party in the Tlhabologang area on New Year's Day.

In the middle of the party, the man took the child from the mother of the child and said that he would send the child to his aunt. After a while, he returned again, bringing back only the blanket that wrapped the child. He told his girlfriend that the child had been handed over to his aunt and went home separately.

By the next morning, his neighbors told his girlfriend that they had found the child's body behind the hall.

The police rushed to the scene to investigate and found that the child had been beaten badly and had a scarred body.

The man was subsequently taken away on charges of homicide.

Also in the North-West Province, also on New Year's Day, the body of a baby was found on the side of a highway near Stilfontein.

When it was discovered, the 13-day-old baby's hands and feet were tied, and the person who abandoned him looked very cruel. But so far, police have not arrested suspects involved in the case.
