Our fourth shirt of the season will be officially unveiled in the Round of 16 of the Copa del Rey, which is the same as the other three jerseys, which were also released to pay tribute to the 75th anniversary of the club's name change, inspired by the unforgettable memories left by fans in the past 75 years. On January 1, 1947, at Atletico Deporto Madrid, the wings symbolizing the Air Force disappeared with the change of the team crest. On this anniversary, we would like to pay tribute by wearing this shirt at the Copa del Rey.
The fourth shirt, with red as the main colour, is inspired by two historical moments, our team won the title on 10 April 1974 in the first leg of the European Club Champions Cup semi-final against Celtics in Glasgow and the Semi-Final of the Copa del Rey against Athletic Bilbao in 1985.
The fourth set of jerseys will be sold in the official store in the form of a commemorative gift box, which includes a copy of the name change certificate.
As part of the club's celebration of this historic occasion, on January 18, the exhibition "Engraving Glory in Your Name" will open in Atletico's Territory, where the club will take you back to 75 years of unforgettable memories that have been deeply imprinted in the minds of fans.
On Sunday 22 January, the club will also pay their highest tribute to 34 loyal fans who have been members for 75 consecutive years in the match against Valencia.
