Recently, Toyota Motor released the official map of the new generation of Tantu Capstone Special Edition, which focuses on strengthening the material technology and decorative elements inside and outside, and will be used as a "luxury version" of the Tantu series to face the market.
From the outside, this Tantu Capstone has added richer metal & chrome elements, the front grille has also been changed to a more delicate horizontal mesh filling, with a newly designed black A-pillar and five-frame wheels, the whole car looks more high-end luxury.
In the interior part, the layout of the new cabin has not changed much, and the central control part has added a large area of beige leather wrapping and brown walnut decoration, plus blue ambience lights to create a luxurious cockpit atmosphere.
In terms of configuration, the car is equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD dashboard, as well as a 14-inch floating central control screen, and a 12-speaker JBL audio, which is also a "treatment" that ordinary pickup trucks will not have. In addition, driving assistance functions including adaptive cruise, lane departure warning, collision warning, adaptive high beam, road signage recognition, blind spot monitoring and so on will not be absent.
In the seat part, the new car adopts a black/white contrast design, which looks very wide and wrapped, with a panoramic sunroof, double-layer soundproof glass and a wide central armrest exclusive to the pickup, giving people a running first class feeling.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a gasoline-electric hybrid system, including a 3.5T V6 twin-turbo engine and an ISG auxiliary motor (36kW) integrated in the front end of the 10AT transmission.
According to the official data, the total output power of this system will reach 443Ps (326 kW) and the peak torque will be 790N·m. In addition, users can optionally install an adaptive suspension system with a maximum load of 674 kg and a maximum traction force of 4690 kg.
