The 500 kV substation in Liangshan, Sichuan Province, operates with intelligent robots

On January 11, an intelligent robot at the Puti 500 kV substation in Zhaojue County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, shuttled back and forth through the substation equipment. This robot is automatically controlled by the program set in the background, which can realize the infrared temperature measurement of the equipment, the transcribing of the equipment meter data and the oil level inspection of the oil filling equipment. At the same time, if the substation equipment is abnormal, it can use robots to replace manual squatting on the spot to avoid the occurrence of personal safety incidents in dangerous environments. Puti substation is one of the first batch of 500 kV substations built by the State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company, which was completed and put into operation on July 19, 1998, and is also a hub substation for the collection platform of hydropower and clean energy in the east of Liangshan Prefecture and the transmission of electricity from the west to the east.
