Juventus' season took a hit last weekend after Federico Chiesa's front cruciate ligament was torn. In Juventus' thrilling 4-3 win over Roma, Chieza was painfully carried away on a stretcher at the Olympic Stadium 32 minutes later. The 24-year-old was initially injured against Smalling. After a period of treatment on and off the pitch, he came back. But when Chiesa tried to change direction and shake off Maitland Niles, he fell on his left knee on the pitch. It has now been confirmed that Chiesa is expected to be absent for at least six months. The injury means Juventus will be forced to sign a substitute player in the market. Although the Italian is a fierce character on the flanks, the Bianconeri will consider signing a winger or center, and I believe manager Allegri prefers the latter. In terms of the current transfer market, the old woman has six options to refer to.
Martial (Manchester United)
Martial is currently considered a favourite to replace Chiesa. The United winger has been approved by new manager Ronnick and is now ready for a transfer. A lease with a buyout option may suit all three parties, while Anthony Martial has the added benefit of being able to play both the wing and the middle. Juventus also tried to sign the Frenchman before moving to Manchester United in 2015.
Scamaka (Sassuolo)
Sassuolo striker Sgamarca is already Juventus' top target this summer, but the Bianconeri can now make an offer six months in advance. High school striker Skamaca is considered Italy's most promising young No. 9 player, and Juventus are considering a loan and buying it in the summer. But with Boga already leaving Sassuolo this month, they don't want to lose another main player in January and will try to boycott any offer. Inter Milan and Fiorentina are also interested in the €40 million 22-year-old.
Azmond (Zenit)
According to Italian transfer expert Di Marzio, Zenit striker Azmoun has become a potential target for Juventus this month in the last few hours. Azmoun's contract expires at the end of the season, meaning Juve could get him in January for a relatively low price. Given their financial problems, this is appropriate for Juve, but Zenit needs to find a replacement before considering selling him.
Icardi (Paris Saint-Germain)
Icardi has been a long-term target for Juventus, and the old woman has tried several times in the past to sign the controversial Argentine. The 28-year-old will be willing to return to Italy, especially when he's going through family issues, but PSG may be reluctant to do business because Neymar is injured and Messi has struggled all season. Arsenal have struggled for some time to get the 32-year-old out of their squad as he is one of the highest paid players in the entire Premier League. Juventus are believed to be not interested in this at the moment, but Arsenal are willing to take the player out on loan and take on a large part of his salary. It's attractive for Juve.
Vlahović (Florence)
Vlahović was undoubtedly Juventus' dream striker, but they realized that this wish had most likely been shattered by the value of the Fiorentina striker. The interest of arsenals, Tottenham and Manchester City in flavic has sparked a bidding battle, with Vlahovic looking to stay in Fiorentina until summer. Still, with Juventus struggling to reach the top four, perhaps their parent company will approve another injection to sign a top player to prevent clubs from missing out on the Champions League and losing more money.
