It wasn't easy to show myself at first, because when I arrived, Milan was no longer the Milan of its glory days. However, I see the passion that surrounds the club and we all know that it takes time to realize our dreams. I feel like we're on the right track.

It's been a tough journey because early in my career it was a chance to change my destiny, and I just needed to determine if I could live up to the expectations people had placed on me. Joining Milan was an adventure because even in Lyon I didn't know if I would get enough chances. Coming out of a club like Lyon, we all dreamed of joining a club like Milan, so I came here immediately.

About being compared to Desailly

I thoroughly enjoy such comparisons. People like to make some noise, and someone told me something like that. However, I will still focus on my work.

About this season's Serie A title battle

Inter are in the lead, but after two wonderful years of journey, we are all full of passion and the team hasn't changed much. We're doing a good job, but only by paying attention to details can the team play at a higher level.
