Who is in this coffin? Why is it that all officials can consciously bow down to such a special honor? This person is Li Hongzhang and Li Hanzhang's mother, Li Shi.
Li's most famous son was Li Hongzhang, who was rated by the Japanese prime minister as the only person in the Qing Empire who had the ability to compete with the world's powers. After Li Hongzhang's death, Cixi cried for a long time, saying that there was no one to share for her after that. It can be seen that Li Hongzhang's ability. And his mother, Li Shi, gave birth to six sons, all of whom were both rich and noble, and were very famous, and such a mother with a good godson really had the right to enjoy such a special honor.
Lee's dedicated life
According to Li Hongzhang's recollection, he grew up in the countryside of Hefei, a large family of people relying on farming to survive, and his grandfather Li Dianhua was able to make his family live a better life, be able to afford to read, and also owe debts everywhere and could not repay them. Such a status quo did not end until later, Li Hongzhang's father was admitted to the Jinshi.
Li Hongzhang's father, Li Wen'an is the weakest in the family, so he reads very late, even if the family is difficult, Li Dianhua still attaches great importance to the development of his children, so that Li Wen'an has the opportunity to read. And Li Wen'an's wife, Li Hongzhang's mother, Li Shi, can be regarded as a "brother and sister" relationship with Li Wen'an.
Although Li Dianhua was a farmer, he also learned some medical skills, often helping the villagers to treat diseases, once went out, found the Smallpox Li family, li Dianhua with compassion took li family home to take care of.
At that time, smallpox was very terrifying, and Li Dianhua could still bring home a wandering child, and he also saw how kind his heart was. With the help of Li's family, Li's smallpox has improved, but many marks are still left on his face.

As the sons' officials rose and rose, everyone smiled happily, but Li Shi "didn't think so."
The old lady was always not happy about the promotion of her sons, thinking that it was none of her business, and she did so. The words he said most to his sons were: "When the moon is full, it is lost, and when the water is flooded, it overflows, vigilance against itself, and cultivation of morality", which shows the difference in Li's education.

With the fame of Li Hongzhang, Li Hongzhang also valued his own face more, and Li Hongzhang's thinking was not as avant-garde as his mother. Once Li Hongzhang helped his mother into the palanquin, but his mother's feet leaked outside, and li Hongzhang, who had a good face, was afraid of everyone's discussion. So he pulled down the curtain of the palanquin to cover his mother's feet.
This act deeply hurt Li's heart, and at the same time, Li Also reacted, she immediately opened the curtain with her foot and said to Li Hongzhang: Your father does not dislike my foot, do you still dislike it?
If it weren't for these big feet, who would provide you with study and become an official? Saying that Li Shi also let the palanquin go back, Li Hongzhang was frightened not lightly, and immediately knelt down on the spot to admit his mistake, which showed Li's position in the hearts of his sons and Li's advanced thinking. It is precisely because of this kind of thinking that all of his sons can be cultivated into national pillars.
In 1882, Li Shi was too old and his health was getting worse, so Li Hongzhang took a leave of absence to go home to accompany his mother, but before he arrived at his home in Hubei, he received the news of his mother's death. He died at the age of 83, 28 years longer than Li Wen'an. Due to Li Shi's illness, Guangxu made a decree, saying that Li Hongzhang, the viceroy of the university, and Li Hanzhang, the mother of Li Hanzhang, the governor of Huguang, had a good son, and the imperial court should give preferential treatment to the ministers.
Thus there is a scene of Li's coffin being transported from Hubei to his hometown of Hefei, and local officials kneeling to pay homage to each other. A few years after the death of li hongzhang and Li Hanzhang brothers, the imperial court posthumously named Li Shi as Lady Yipin and Jin as Lady Yipinbo, which shows that the imperial court misses her, and these are all honors for the contributions made by Li's son to the country.
