In addition to the good habit of living a simple life, Zhao Dian also likes to read a lot of books, and his knowledge is very profound, and even some people come from far away to learn from him.
Zhao Dian was so simple and erudite that he naturally attracted the attention of the imperial court. When Zhao Dian grew up, the Four Houses recommended Zhao Dian, and he was worshipped as a Speaker. Soon, Zhao Dian was promoted to become a waiter.
Once, when the emperor wanted to expand the Hongchi, Zhao Dian advised: "The water surface of the Hongchi is as wide as a hundred hectares, and you must continue to expand and dig deeper, this is not to respect Tang Yu's restraint of yourself, abide by xiaowen's love for the people!" The emperor listened to his advice and abandoned the expansion of the pond.
Although the emperor listened to Zhao Dian's suggestion this time, it did not mean that the emperor was a Ming Emperor. After all, this emperor's fainting is famous in history, and he is the Han Huan Emperor. One of the Huanling Second Emperors that Zhuge Liang rebuked in the renunciation table was this Han Huan Emperor.
Emperor Huan of Han favored eunuchs and often rewarded them for no reason. The other ministers were naturally very dissatisfied when they saw the emperor doing this, but they did not dare to raise objections in front of the emperor. Zhao Dian, on the other hand, was more upright, and he bluntly advised the emperor: "There is no merit and is rewarded, but those who really have merit are not rewarded, the superior is ashamed, the inferior is humiliated, and the celestial phenomena become disordered." Moreover, Gao Zu (Liu Bang) swore an oath that it was not that the meritorious man did not reward him. Those who have not been knighted should be stripped of their titles, so as to continue the previous rules! Emperor Huan directly rejected Zhao Dian's suggestion.
Later, Zhao Dian was dismissed from his official post because his outspoken advice violated the emperor's will. However, although he was relieved of his official position, his knighthood remained. According to the regulations of the Han Dynasty, those who are required to return to the feudal state are not allowed to leave without a will.
Just when Zhao Dian had just returned to the feudal kingdom, Emperor Huan of Han died. After Zhao Dian got the news, he hurriedly wanted to return to Jingshi for funerals. However, due to the rules set by the Han Dynasty long ago, he had no possibility of leaving the feudal state at all. In a hurry, Zhao Dian directly threw the seal on his body to the county order, and said indignantly: "I came out of the cloth and ranked among the secretaries of state, and the magpie bird can still repay the favor, let alone the scholar?" After saying that, he rode straight to Kyoshi.
When he arrived at the Capital Division, both the governor of the prefecture and the great hongqi had to arrest and convict him. Fortunately, the other secretaries of state believed that Zhao Dian was righteous, and collectively requested that Zhao Dian be allowed to redeem himself by renting. The emperor read Gongqing's suggestion and issued an edict exempting Zhao Dian from responsibility.
When Emperor Huan's funeral was over, Zhao Dian stayed in the Capital Division, was worshipped as a Changle Shaofu and Wei Wei, and finally almost became a state teacher of the dynasty. Unfortunately, Zhao Dian died of illness early.
After Zhao Dian's death, the emperor sent emissaries to mourn him. Empress Dowager Dou also sent emissaries to give the deceased Zhao Dian the seal of the Seal of The Marquis of Zhao.
