In October 25, Liu Xiu proclaimed himself emperor in Luoyang to establish the Eastern Han Dynasty, and specially selected three hundred soldiers to take Yin Lihua to the Luoyang Imperial Palace, and Liu Xiu saw Yin Lihua's first face and said to her: "I haven't seen her for a long time." At this time, Yin Lihua knew that Liu Xiu had won the battle for the throne and became the emperor. However, after Yin Lihua arrived in Luoyang, she found that the husband she thought about day and night already had other wives and children.
In order to win over the power of King Zhending, Liu Xiu married Guo Shengtong, the niece of King Zhending, and also gave birth to a child, Liu Zheng (the first prince of the Eastern Han Dynasty).
