But Vietnam had been overwhelmed by inflated ambitions, and with the support of the Soviet Union behind it, in the end, in order to avoid Vietnam from doing something more excessive, our country decided to counterattack Vietnam in 1979.

In short, the attitude of China's peaceful diplomacy has never changed, and Vietnam has always been to blame for the start of the counterattack war against Vietnam. Therefore, in the future, no matter how strong our country becomes, as long as other countries do not easily provoke, our guns will never be pointed at others.
