A small office building still requires such a cumbersome process, and such a huge science and technology park will undoubtedly require more rigorous evaluation and investigation.

Because the coverage area is larger, more professional experts are needed to conduct more rigorous investigations. After hundreds of years of dynastic change, many cultural relics are buried deep underground and cannot be recognized by the naked eye.
Therefore, when building large buildings, the cultural relics department needs to send professional personnel to carefully check to see if there are cultural relics under the location.
The Chengdu Xinchuan Science and Technology Park was in trouble during the survey.
Generally speaking, even if the science and technology parks with a larger footprint are not selected in the urban area, they will be selected around the urban areas that are close to each other.
In the earliest urban planning, the reason why a large area was selected for the construction of the city, for the centralized construction of buildings, etc., was because to a large extent, there was no impact on cultural relics and so on.
In general, artifacts are rarely found in areas of dense urban architecture. But what is unexpected is that when the Chengdu Xinchuan Science and Technology Park is ready to be put into construction and surveyed.
However, it was found that under the land to be developed and built, there was a very large group of tombs. In this case, out of the protection of cultural relics, the construction project of the park will naturally be stopped.
After the surveyors stopped construction, they began to clean up the cultural relics. But the size of this mass of tombs has made experts crazy and amazed.
Originally, in this place of only eleven square kilometers, more than 6,000 tombs were covered. Most crucially, these tomb groups do not have any historical records.
In any of the history books, archaeologists have not been able to find a description that matches the ancient tomb group, so many archaeologists are excited.
This major discovery has also caused quite a stir in the archaeological community. Many archaeologists have taken the initiative to submit applications to the state, hoping to devote themselves to the excavation and archaeological work of cultural relics.
Upon learning of the matter, the Government immediately agreed to the application. Thus began the massive archaeological excavations.
02 The Long Scroll of Historical Civilization
From 2005 until now, this archaeological excavation has not completely ended. There are still some relatively well-preserved, mysterious tombs that have not yet been completely cleared.
During this five-year period, archaeologists have excavated more than 6,000 tombs, including cliff tombs, brick chamber tombs, etc., covering a variety of types.
and belonged to different dynasties. The entire time span reaches two thousand years, from the Warring States period to the Ming Dynasty, during which there are almost no era faults.

Therefore, in the development of history, the Chengdu area has also bred a large number of brilliant civilizations. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, Chengdu was occupied by the Qin State.
As a result, this place has become the origin of the Qin State. During the Qin Dynasty, Dujiangyan was built here. Gradually, Sichuan gained the reputation of the country of heaven.
Relying on sufficient water sources, the people of Sichuan live by the water, and they are also fruitful in agriculture, and the people live and work in peace and contentment.
For a long time, Sichuan became an important grain and fiscal base for the current dynasty. With the change of dynasties, during the war, Sichuan, which occupied a geographical location, also became a place of warlord contention.
Because of this, there are more than 6,000 tombs in Chengdu that are distributed layered on top of each other. It is precisely because of the high cultural prosperity that there is such a huge group of tombs.
In addition, among the excavated cultural relics, there are a large number of pottery, porcelain, jade, glass and other historical relics.
And there are many well-preserved tombs, with a large number of coins and other funerary items, in the passage of time, there is no stolen tomb found, retaining the most original appearance, so it has a very high research value.
These real cultural relics covering many dynasties show us a complete picture from the Spring and Autumn Warring States to the Ming Dynasty.
03 Projects that are extended indefinitely
Therefore, the complexity and mystery of cultural relics have made the excavation work continue for five years without completion, and these cultural relics seem to be inexhaustible.
For the protection of cultural relics, the construction of science and technology parks naturally cannot resume work until the cultural relics have been cleaned up.
Despite the repeated requests of the construction party in these five years, the response of the Cultural Relics Bureau to this has always been that it is not allowed and the resumption of work is unrealistic.
However, the longer the time drags on, the construction party is naturally unwilling. The original intention of the construction of the science and technology park was to promote the economic development of Chengdu.
However, as the excavation of cultural relics continued, the construction progress of the project was delayed for five years, and according to the excavation work reports of archaeologists.
It will still take a long time to clean up the artifacts intact. After the construction party learned of this news, his heart was almost desperate.
Because a lot of approval work has been completed long before the survey of the science and technology park. If you apply to the government for a new place to build at this time, you will have to repeat the previous process.
Coming and going, it will take a lot of time. After repeated deliberations, the construction party had to apply and suggest several times that the Cultural Relics Bureau could speed up the cleanup.
For archaeologists, however, these artifacts have been buried underground for thousands of years. Every artifact needs to be carefully cared for.
And the dirt on each artifact needs to be carefully taken care of to prevent some tiny, imperceptible artifacts from falling down. In addition, the number of cultural relics is particularly large.
Therefore, it is naturally impossible to clean up quickly. Because of the large number, it is impossible to pack all these cultural relics and send them to the laboratory, but can only be excavated on site.
In this complex pattern of ancient tombs, there are also many funerary products, and the architectural structure of the entire tomb is very special.
Therefore, the Anti-Relics Bureau intends to reproduce all the information of these burial chambers in the archives by means of 3D scanning. After completion, these subsequent studies will become valuable historical materials.
At the same time, these are also very large projects that require a lot of time. Therefore, although the construction of Chengdu Xinchuan Science and Technology Park has been postponed for five years, it is also impossible to resume work in a short period of time afterwards.
04 Historical and cultural significance that cannot be copied
Compared with the economic value brought about by the completion of the construction of the science and technology park, these cultural relics that span thousands of years and cover the historical stories of multiple dynasties are equally important in terms of cultural value and practical significance.
The discovery of ancient tombs has further confirmed China's long historical civilization and enriched the research materials of China's development history. History, as the name suggests, is history that has happened, and it is inevitably fading away.
As future generations, once we miss it, it is difficult to have the opportunity to study and understand the unknown civilization.
Therefore, these historical artifacts are like fleeting evidence, which must be firmly grasped when we encounter them, which will be of great significance to the entire human civilization.
Although the finalization of the archaeological work still needs some time to complete, the resumption of the Xinchuan Science and Technology Park seems to be far away.
Originally a science and technology park that was supposed to gather a variety of modern science and technology industries and was full of modernity and futurism, it has now been transformed into an ancient tomb with a strong cultural and historical atmosphere.
The seemingly unrelated two do not actually have any conflict. The transition from one to the other is only a matter of time.
For the repeated applications of the construction team, the Cultural Relics Bureau has repeatedly rejected them, which is also the reason. In the present time, it is the time that belongs to the ancient tomb.
After all the cultural relics have been excavated, they will naturally be returned to modern economic construction. It seems that the science park has been delayed for five years.
But how can the pace of human progress be stopped so easily, and all the modern scientific and technological talents that should belong to the science and technology park are just shining in other places.
Because of the discovery of ancient tombs, this land has also been given rare historical and cultural significance, which will add luster to the science and technology park to be built in the future.
