Sassnovic reached the WTA final again after four years

In the second semi-final of the WTA250 Melbourne Summer Series, Sasnovic, who broke through from the qualifiers, defeated No. 7 seed Ann Lee 2-1 in three sets to reach the tour title after four years, which was also the third WTA final of her career (Seoul 2015, Brisbane 2018).
