"One Habit of the Day" is based on the land of China to tell a good Chinese story

This passage is from the speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping at the opening ceremony of the 11th National Congress of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the 10th National Congress of the China Writers Association on December 14, 2021.

The broad and profound Chinese civilization is the unique spiritual identity of the Chinese nation, the foundation of contemporary Chinese literature and art, and the treasure of literary and artistic innovation. With the development of science and technology, the Internet, big data, artificial intelligence and other innovative forms of cultural and artistic creation activities have broadened the literary and artistic space. However, the innovation of technology only updates the way of artistic expression and rendering, and only life is the source of artistic abundance and development. Therefore, the vast number of literary and art workers must base themselves on the land of China, bend down, and take steps in order to create excellent works that are deep, grounded, and resonate with the same frequency of the times.

Cultural people can more condense the soul; with art, it is easier to communicate with the world. Telling the Chinese story well, spreading the Chinese voice, and showing the world a true, three-dimensional and comprehensive China are the inevitable requirements for us to enhance the soft power of Chinese culture and the influence of Chinese culture in the world, and it is also the common demand of the world in sharing China's development opportunities. This requires us to tell the world well the story of China's five-thousand-year history of civilization, the story of the great achievements of the Communist Party of China in the past hundred years, and the great practical story of the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, write a new chapter in promoting the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind, and contribute wisdom and strength to the progress of human civilization.

Chinese people have always had a profound sense of the world, and contemporary China has turned its attention to the world and to all mankind.
