Si Haoyao's debut was at the 2021 Chengdu Auto Show, and the full combat atmosphere of the whole vehicle left an extraordinary impression at the time, and this is also the first time we can experience the dynamic part of this model. Good dynamic performance

The vehicle adopts the independent suspension of the front McPherson and the rear multi-link type, and adopts the front-wheel drive mode, considering the motion positioning of the vehicle itself, such a combination can be regarded as a more conventional operation for Si Haoyao. The whole vehicle adopts a chassis tuning that is more sporty, which is also more in line with its appearance. The suspension feedback on the road surface is quite positive, and some small bumps will be transmitted directly to the driver's seat, forming a clearer sense of the road, I don't know if this will impress some players who pursue control. What is more interesting is that the passenger seat's feeling about the road surface is more blurred.
Matching the data, this 1.5T engine can also bring a more obvious acceleration feeling, and the torque at low speed is also sufficient, and there is basically no abrupt sense of turbo intervention. Si Haoyao has a total of 4 driving modes, namely economy, standard, sport and track mode, in different modes, the power performance of the throttle pedal response will be slightly different, but compared with other models, this difference will not be so obvious. The feeling of driving the whole car is still relatively brisk.
Nowadays, many manufacturers can almost make the dual-clutch transmission as smooth as the automatic transmission, and Si Haoyao's 6-speed wet dual-clutch transmission is no exception. Throughout the test drive, the transmission behaved very obediently. In addition, its obedience is also reflected in the face of rapid acceleration when the reaction, when the speed of the car at 80km/h and deep on the accelerator, the gearbox will automatically drop from 6 to 3rd gear, the whole process is very fast, and in different driving modes, the gearbox can provide very good feedback, of course, the economy mode will be slightly delayed, but it is also remarkable.

The braking feedback of the vehicle is more positive, the braking pedal is more linear during the entire braking process, and the initial stage can obtain a good braking performance, so that the driver has confidence and is easy to get started. The day-by-day RACE version of the test drive is a full range of top-end models, and its active/passive safety configuration is also more comprehensive. The vehicle has front/rear parking radar, 360° panoramic image, transparent chassis, automatic parking, automatic parking and other functions, which can basically cope with most road driving scenarios. Compared with other versions, the day-by-day RACE version of Si Haoyao, which was test-driven, has a more radical design. The vehicle features an 18-inch 5-spoke petal-style wheel rim with matte black paint on the surface. The steering wheel has a 4-spoke design, and has a leather wrapping and black/silver trim, but it would be better to be smaller in size. The instrument panel adopts a central 7-inch LCD instrument combined with the digital instrument combination on both sides, mainly providing 3 different display forms (independent of driving mode) and a more personalized track mode.
The central control LCD screen adopts a suspension design and the size reaches 10.4 inches. The UI interface of the car machine system is relatively rich, and the operation is relatively smooth. Some of the vehicle's settings, air conditioning, etc. can be operated via the screen. In addition, functions such as online live video, online music, Internet of Vehicles, and in-car Wifi are also available. However, it is regrettable that this car machine system fails to provide Apple CarPlay/Baidu CarLife mobile phone interconnection function. Although it is a compact sedan positioned at the level of 100,000 yuan, the internal configuration of Si Haoyao is relatively rich. Under the central console, there is also a relatively large storage area where you can place some small bags and other items. At the same time, after the second row of seats is lowered, the space advantage of the hatchback tailgate is also greater released, and the storage space is much larger than that of the regular car.
The leather-wrapped front seats feature a sporty look, also in a red and black mix, and are embellished with red stitching. The main seat has seat heating and can be adjusted in four directions, with electric up/down/front/rear adjustment, and the back of the seat is manually adjusted and the passenger seat is manually adjusted. The second row of seats has a good wrapping, and the longer seat cushion can also have a better support for the legs.
