On "rough self-interest", I only serve Hou Zhirong

Professor Qian Liqun of the Department of Chinese of Peking University once said this:

"Some of our universities, including Peking University, are cultivating 'refined egoists' who are highly intelligent, worldly, sophisticated, good at acting, know how to cooperate, and are better at using the system to achieve their own goals." Once such a person holds power, he is more harmful than ordinary corrupt officials. ”

Since then, "refined egoists" have become as popular as the Internet buzzwords like "DDDD."

As close as Nan Jianlong in "Little Shede", Xia Qing in "You Are My Glory", as far as Xie Ruolin in "Lurking", countless film and television images are classified as "exquisite and self-interested".

If there is "refinement", there must be "roughness".

Hou Zhirong in the popular TV series "Three Lives Have the Honor to Meet You" is a very typical representative of "rough self-interest".

What is a rough egoist?

Scholars define it this way: as opposed to the refined egoist, those who act very selfishly, but because of insufficient intelligence, education, and ability, they cannot skillfully and cover up the benefits, and can only violently pursue profits in a very low-level, ugly, and offensive way.

Hou Zhirong's selfishness is very easy to see from his attitude towards these four people.

First and foremost, it was Ma Yong.

The plot does not lay much groundwork for Ma Yong's previous history, but from Hou Zhirong's many words and deeds, it can still be inferred:

Ma Yong has been working in the company for a long time, and on business ability, he does not lose Hou Zhirong, the boss at all; on the work attitude, it is also a hard work before and after the saddle.

Regard work as home, regard Hou Zhirong as a grace.

And Ma Yong's blackening was completely in a split second. Outside Hou Zhirong's office, he heard the harsh words that Hou Zhirong personally said: "He has always been an outsider." ”

In other words, it was Hou Zhirong who personally gave Ma Yong hope, and it was Hou Zhirong who personally destroyed Ma Yong's hope.

The second is the Marquis.

Hou Zhirong always "hated the marquis instead of steel" in his mouth, but in his actions, he always regarded the marquis as a "tool man".

From the very beginning to send Huang Yue with money, to later vigorously promote the marriage of Hou Chen, from beginning to end, Hou Zhirong used the marriage of the Marquis as a chip to promote the development of the company. He did not consider the happiness of his son, nor did he care about the character of his daughter-in-law, he only cared about how big his career territory could be expanded.

The third is Qian Xiaoyan.

Regardless of whether Qian Xiaoyan really loves Hou Zhirong in the end, at least in Hou Zhirong's heart, the love for Qian Xiaoyan is definitely not the "love" in people's traditional concepts.

When Qian Xiaoyan's parents offered to meet with Hou Zhirong, Hou Zhirong hid. When Qian Xiaoyan proposed to get married, Hou Zhirong directly used the money to send Qian Xiaoyan.

In Hou Zhirong's heart, the so-called "love" must completely cut off the "responsibility".

The fourth is Bao Xiaohan.

In order to dig up Bao Xiaohan, Hou Zhirong promised to let him be the deputy director of the design department, and the salary and treatment were the same as the director.

But turning around, Hou Zhirong excluded Bao Xiaohan from the celebration banquet, and even though he went around, the things that Hou Zhirong promised Bao Xiaohan did not honor.

In order to help his son ascend to the throne, Hou Zhirong has been prostituting Xiaohan's achievements in Bai, and later the plan was stolen, which made Hou Zhirong find an excuse and kicked Bao Xiaohan out.

From the perspective of these people, what Hou Zhirong did was really chilling. He can use all men for his own benefit, and he takes it for granted.

If Hou Zhirong is an entrepreneur with black belly and means, then his bottomless selfish behavior can still be worthy of a sentence of "having ability". But in fact, the way he achieves "self-interest" is so low.

At first, I didn't like the marquis's character of "the courage of the piaf", but now look at it, at least the marquis knows more gratitude than Hou Zhirong.
