Although xiao Momo (pseudonym), who was 8 months old, suddenly had shock and respiratory arrest at 3 months, although she successfully saved her life in the local hospital, she developed renal failure after 2 weeks and needed continuous renal replacement therapy 3 times a week. In order to alleviate the pain and save lives, the parents brought the children to Tianjin First Central Hospital for treatment.

After examination, the child was diagnosed with primary hyperoxalic aciduria type I, renal failure, uremic phase, and needed liver-kidney combination transplantation. In the face of such a small age, Gao Wei, director of the Department of Pediatric Organ Transplantation, and Director Of Kidney Transplantation, Mr. Como Chunbai, fully discussed and assessed the risks of surgery, and formulated an accurate and perfect surgical and treatment plan.
