Chen Yannian died at the age of 29, and alone, he devoted all his thoughts to the revolutionary cause, never took a wife, and his sister Chen Yuying, who was far away from his hometown in Anhui, and his younger brother Chen Songnian rushed to Shanghai to take care of the aftermath for Chen Yannian after hearing this unfortunate news.
What was cruel was that the enemy allowed the two brothers and sisters to plead and did not let them look at Chen Yannian's corpse, and the helpless brothers and sisters could only burn a few incense sticks at the place where Chen Yannian sacrificed, sprinkle a glass of wine, and cry bitterly in the street.
Chen Yannian's death made Chen Qiaonian miserable and hated the enemy, and he decided to avenge his eldest brother with his actions. Although the Chen family was very worried about Chen Qiaonian's situation at this moment, he would not give up the revolutionary cause.
