Mr.Q: Yes, I admit that my work has its own unique style, and I have also put these works on social platforms, hoping to communicate with you. In fact, I did not think that "Rooster Gaze" could become popular, because this work is a propositional composition, although it is my style, it needs to be created according to the requirements of the competition, so compared with my other works, it has certain limitations. As for its popularity, I would like to attribute it to my talent, unique painting style, or hard work, but I understand that in fact, "luck" is the biggest factor, life is wonderful, and things are often unpredictable and unpredictable.

Red Star News: What do you think has shaped the unique style of your work? Will you adjust your creations because of the evaluations of others?

Mr.Q: My creation comes from the observation of ordinary life, and my own feelings, and my style is also slowly formed in the creative process, and also evolves with personal experience. Perhaps it also benefited from the fact that I did not receive a systematic art education, dared to use the "abnormal" imagination, and the limitations were smaller.

The issue of adjusting one's own creation should be separated: if it is a self-expressive work, it must be expressed in a way that you think is appropriate according to your own thoughts and feelings, and is not affected by the outside world; if it is a design that accepts the commission, you need to consider the requirements of the client and the specific use of the scene, and make corresponding adjustments.

Mr.Q: In fact, when more and more works are known to everyone, your name will naturally be known slowly, and the popularity of a work is an accidental event, which can also be said to be lucky. On this basis, how to continue to let more works be seen, it will require more new ideas, use the imagination to create, break out more "bright spots", relying only on the unexpected popularity of a work, it is impossible to support for a long time, after all, the work is the terminal of expression, and no good work is not enough after all.

Red Star News: Seeing that you said that you were fully acceptable to the commercialization of your works, and knowing that you held a solo exhibition last September, what are your current works? What efforts have you made to commercialize your work?

Mr. Q: Yes, personally, a work doesn't have to be in a gallery, it's a good work. I hope to be able to do more diversified conversions. In the display space, you can use independent spaces in cafes, independent bookstores, communities and streets, and even stickers on telephone poles, which is completely fine; on the conversion of derivatives, I think this Golden Rooster Award has been regarded as a relatively successful conversion, and I hope that in the future, together with the organizing committee, this IP can be deeply developed, after all, it is the image that everyone likes and selects, and it is a pity that it is fleeting.

In the past two years, I have participated in many venture capital roadshows, gained attention, and got the intention of some investors, the main direction is to insert (move) the image of derivatives development, there is an incubation project is in the agreement discussion stage, the next step will be some in-depth cooperation.

Mr.Q: On the one hand, continue to participate in relevant competitions at home and abroad to expand popularity; on the other hand, discuss the possibility of transforming works with investors, as well as docking with some publishers, handmade producers, and popular brands; and cooperate with independent spaces to achieve "from the street, back to the street".
