According to the Associated Press reported on the 5th, an aide to Polish President Andrzej Duda said on Wednesday that the president's new crown virus test result was positive, but there are no serious symptoms at present.
The aide, Pawel Szrot, tweeted that Duda was under medical observation but feeling well.

Szłot said Duda, 49, has been vaccinated against COVID-19 and received a booster injection last month. The president was tested for covid-19 this week because of a number of positive cases among employees in his office.
This is not the first time Duda has reportedly contracted COVID-19, he was tested positive for COVID-19 in October 2020, when he reported no serious symptoms.
Poland reported more than 17,000 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and more than 630 new deaths on Wednesday. The country of 38 million people has reported more than 4 million confirmed cases and nearly 99,000 deaths since the outbreak began.
