Yoshiko Kawashima was awarded the rank of Army Shōsa for transferring Empress Wanrong's merits.
The second thing was that after Toei Joji came to power, due to serious problems in the number of soldiers and materials in the Japanese army, he hoped to negotiate cooperation with the ruling government at that time. However, the peace talks need to grasp each other's situation, and there are suitable intermediaries to sing opera for the peace talks, and only Yoshiko Kawashima can facilitate this special work. In fact, Yoshiko Kawashima took the initiative to ask for help.
In any case, Kawashima Yoshiko, with her professional talents, especially her charming appearance and outstanding communication skills, soon opened up the situation of her work, and had a certain contact with the traitors Zhou Fohai, Chen Gongbo, and even Dai Kasa and other dignitaries.

The following year, in the early morning of March 25, 1948, Yoshiko Kawashima was shot, and this year she was 41 years old – about three months later, it was her 42nd birthday!

After being shot, is Yoshiko Kawashima really dead?
Regarding the death of Yoshiko Kawashima, there have always been many doubts, and there are various rumors, but the most famous is the theory of Fang Yao.
There are two reasons why Fang Yaozhi's theory is widely spread:
One is that after Yoshiko Kawashima was shot, the reporter saw that "the head is south and the foot is north, and the bullet is shot from the back of the head ... His face was covered in blood... Unrecognizable..."
Because of this information, the stand-in theory is derived.
The second is that a researcher in the public security system of Jilin Province made a detailed comparison of Kawashima Yoshiko's handwriting, fingerprints, and DNA and photos of Kawashima Yoshiko before and after the shooting, and the results were very surprising, and there were obvious differences between the personal information of the executed person and the information of Kawashima Yoshiko, for example, from the comparison of the pelvic bone, it was found that the executed person was a woman who had given birth, while Kawashima Yoshiko had never given birth.
Because of these two special information, Li Xianglan's testimony appears more credible: in early 2009, Zhang Yu, a descendant of Fang Yao's village, went to Tokyo, Japan to meet Li Xianglan, the most iron girlfriend of Kawashima Yoshiko's life, and she took out a photo of "Fang Yao" to identify Li Xianglan, and as a result, Li Xianglan read it and was very sure that this "Fang Yao" was Kawashima Yoshiko.
From this, it is confirmed that Yoshiko Kawashima was not shot at that time, but absconded to a rural hermitage on the outskirts of Changchun, and died on February 21, 1978, at the age of 72.
