TSMC's senior general Wang Jianguang applied for retirement and was succeeded by Vice President Lee Jun-hyun

Wang Jianguang, a veteran general of TSMC and a senior deputy general of the current corporate planning organization, applied for retirement, which will take effect in early May, and the related business will be taken over by Deputy General Manager Li Junxian.

Founded in 1987, Wang Jianguang is one of the founding elders, has been serving in TSMC for 35 years, he is a master of chemical engineering at Chengda University, has a hard foundation of practical combat strength, so it has been reused all the way, and participated in the development of TSMC with founder Zhang Zhongmou and former vice chairman Zeng Fancheng.

According to the official website of TSMC, Wang Jianguang is currently responsible for the company's operation-related module engineering, process integration, technology development, new technology transfer, manufacturing, and fab management. He has served as the director of Plant 3/4, the senior director of Plant 14, the chief director of mature technology business and the chief director of 12-inch plant.

Wang Jianguang is committed to building TSMC's production technology and system, supporting the successful launch and mass production of advanced processes, and promoting the transformation of factories from automated production to data-oriented and smart manufacturing production models, and investing in creating a green manufacturing environment for the company.

Li Junxian graduated from the Department of Chemistry of Zhongyuan University, a master's degree in business administration from the City University of New York's Berk College, and was the general manager of Brilliant Electronics and the chief financial officer of Wanghong, and joined TSMC in 2007 as the financial director of mainstream technology, advanced technology and R&D organization, assisting in the completion of a number of capacity expansion strategy projects.
