"Ten years of life and death are vague, not thinking, unforgettable, thousands of miles of lonely graves, nowhere to say desolate." Since ancient times, life and death have been an inevitable topic of people, the ancients paid attention to "death is like life", and the tombs of princes and nobles were always built in an extremely luxurious way. And modern people pay attention to everything from jane, a wooden box, a grave, is everyone's ultimate destination.
Even so, the location of the tomb is still a prudent matter, Chinese pay attention to a "feng shui", believing that the place where the deceased rests can affect the fortunes of future generations. If you say that where the feng shui is the best in the tomb group, Beijing Babaoshan must be on the list, where the green mountains are surrounded by cypresses and green trees, and the heroic spirits of countless great people are buried on this land.
Babaoshan was originally named Red Furnace Mountain, and later it was named Babaoshan because of the eight kinds of building materials such as refractory soil, white clay, graystone, laterite, green ash, crucible soil, yellow ginger, and sand and stone produced in the nearby mountains. Legend has it that there are eight treasures hidden here, namely the Golden Bull, the Golden Horse, the Golden Rooster, the Golden Dustpan, the Golden Mill, the Golden Bean, and the Golden Mill, but they are sealed in a sunny hillside and no one can take them out.
In the Ming and Qing dynasties, BabaoShan was the place where the eunuchs in the palace left the palace to retire to the end, and because of the beautiful mountains and rivers and the green mountains, it was regarded as a paradise. Until the founding of New China in 1949, Babaoshan became a revolutionary cemetery, burying great figures such as state leaders, famous scientists, and revolutionary martyrs, and also made Babaoshan a solemn and sacred blessed place.
The first great man to be buried in Babaoshan was the outstanding statesman Ren Bishi, who died in 1950 and devoted his life to The cause of China's revolution, with integrity, justice, and conscientiousness in his work and post. Later generations praised him: "Among the leaders of the party, He Shi is enough to be a sage. ...... Firmly believe in excellence, discipline oneself strictly; run the family within the party, be diligent and thrifty. Si Weiren's mausoleum, Jane lying on the Eight Treasure Mountain; reading the revolutionary righteousness, forever existing in the heavens and the earth. ”
One of the greatest worshippers is the architect and poet Lin Huiyin, who is always full of flowers because people admire this legendary woman who is "a poetic thousand waterfalls and a monthly day on earth". It is worth mentioning that the Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery was designed by Lin Huiyin, and even the unique white jade wreath on her tombstone was also created by herself, and people came to mourn every year on festivals such as Qingming.
In Cemetery 81, the heroic spirit of Marshal He Long, an outstanding leader and military expert, once slept in this cemetery for more than 30 years, but because of the last wish of "falling leaves to the roots" before his death, Marshal He Long was eventually moved back to his hometown in Hunan, so Cemetery No. 81 is also known as the most special cemetery.
In addition to the above great men, Marshal Zhu De, Marshal Chen Yi, the famous geologist Li Siguang, the revolutionary Qu Qiubai and others were buried here, and Babaoshan has become the most famous and highest-specification garden cemetery in China. Those who can be buried here are either great contributions to the country and the people, or senior leaders of the country, so many celebrities bury themselves in Babaoshan after death as the ultimate pursuit, which is actually a manifestation of life ambitions.
Although "the dead yuan knows that everything is empty", the great people who have contributed to the country still live in the hearts of the people and are immortal among the cangshan cypresses.
