Dou Jiande was not for these things, but he could not see anyone suffering, but everyone remembered his goodness in their hearts.
Later, he escaped because of his crime, and soon after returning home, his father died, and people who had received his favor before came to give him gifts and wanted to help him.
But who has a lot of money for the people who cultivate the land? Dou Jiande insisted on refusing to accept it, and everyone had to give up, but the respect for this person in their hearts was a little more.
The Road of Anti-Sui
At the beginning of the 7th century, the Sui Emperor began to recruit soldiers in order to recruit other countries, and young men were asked to enlist in the army whether they wanted to or not.
If it is placed in the time of Guotai and Min'an, perhaps everyone will be willing to contribute a modest effort to the country, but at this time, the Sui Dynasty is already full of holes, and the people in many places have died and been displaced because of the flood.
Don't look at Dou Jiande, who is usually honest and kind to people, but he is actually a very intelligent person. I saw that the people's opinions of this court were getting bigger and bigger.
He expected that a chaotic world was about to begin, so with a wave of his hand, he fell into the grass with hundreds of poor men with hot blood, and only when the time came, he rebelled, but his actions were soon known to the local government.
In order to stifle this hidden danger in the cradle, the government gathered a large number of officers and soldiers to prepare to encircle and suppress Dou Jiande and his men.
There was no way back for the people who fell into the grass, Dou Jiande knew that he was outnumbered, so he fled with hundreds of people, and the government added a fire to this antipathy, and could not catch Dou Jiande, they actually brutally killed his relatives, and the blood sea was deeply vengeful, which also made him strengthen his determination from then on.
After calming down, Dou Jiande knew that he could not achieve great things on his own, so after consulting with his brothers, he decided to defect to Gao Shida, who was strong at that time.
In Gao Shida's team, Dou Jiande, while mastering the dignity and inferiority of the master and subordinate, actively resisted Sui, and his character of keeping promises and righteousness and thin clouds also made more and more people defect to him.
By about 616 AD, Dou Jiande already had more than 10,000 horses in his hands, but unfortunately, Gao Shida did not have such an ability, and soon became a ghost under the enemy's sword because of his light enemy on the battlefield.
The trees fell and scattered, but Dou Jiande was not discouraged, he reorganized the banner, gathered the soldiers who had fled everywhere, and organized a team of his own, and in just one year of events, Dou Jiande had enough power to shock the Sui Dynasty.
Of course, the imperial court was very jealous of him, so it began a war of crusades, but Dou Jiande was like a bamboo, attacking a city, gaining a city, and finally taking the important town of Leshou, it was also here that Dou Jiande declared himself emperor, the regime Xia, and the year name Wufeng.
Dou Jiande passed the pass and slashed the generals, with the meaning of the Taoist Tiansu, and later after invading Liaocheng, he even took the famous Sui Dynasty general Yu Wenhua and his power basically spread throughout today's Hebei region.
