Chuan Android mobile phone manufacturers 2022 shipment targets active passive component Q1 demand rebounded

According to supply chain sources, in the first quarter of 2022, the demand for Android mobile phones from Chinese mainland suppliers began to pick up, and Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo and Glory all set ambitious shipping targets for 2022, providing a great guarantee for the performance of MLCC, resistor, inductor and quartz component suppliers.

According to the Electronic Times, the person said that after the inventory adjustment in the previous months, Chinese mainland customers have resumed the shipment momentum of passive components, although shipping logistics problems still exist and the inventory levels of supply chain participants remain uneven.

Quartz component maker TXC said that over the past year, its lead times have been longer than the traditional average because customers have continued to have strong order volumes, preferring to raise component inventory levels rather than encounter shortages. Mobile customers have been digesting inventory faster than expected since last December and are poised to ramp up shipments in the first quarter of 2022.

Resistance supplier Dayi Technology also said that after inventory inventory at the end of the year, it is expected that its shipments to Chinese mainland mobile phone manufacturers will increase significantly in the first quarter of 2022.
